(SOL10095) The BIG-IP system daemon heartbeat is a recurring signal that a service generates. The BIG-IP system continually monitors daemon heartbeat signals for certain daemons, such as TMM, to determine whether the service is running.
The BIG-IP system logs the following error message to the /var/log/ltm file when the TMM has failed to complete its polling loop and update its heartbeat signal within the threshold period:
