Description
The Cache Setting feature (referred to as RAM Cache in BIG-IP versions prior to 11.0.0) does not honor the Vary header field containing the asterisk character ( * ) in RFC-compliant fashion. RFC2616, section 13.6, states that a response containing a Vary header field value with an asterisk character is not cacheable. However, the BIG-IP system ignores the asterisk character and incorrectly stores responses with aVary: * header in the Cache Setting feature.
